Summer Concentrated Cleansing Balm 60ml

Summer is the first seasonal specific balm formulated to repair the skin and manage increasing temperature and humidity with the changing needs of the skin during these months. This formulation allows for gentle hydration, regeneration, and repair of sun damaged and blemished skin. This balm has a honeyed texture that softens when massaged into the skin. Cleansing –use a small amount of balm (thumb nail) and massage into the skin using a circular motion, working up from the neck including the eye area and wipe clean with damp cotton pads or muslin cloth (for maximum benefit moisten the cotton pads or muslin cloth with copper distilled botanical mist and finish with a final spray directly onto the skin misting from the neck to the forehead.

Summer cleansing balm is preservative free and must be stored in a cool, dry place.

This is a completely natural handmade product therefore colour and smell may vary from batch to batch.

*sesamum indicum seed oil (sesame oil) - antioxidant – contains vitamin e - anti-inflammatory – antimicrobial – non comedogenic - especially good for warmer higher humidity months, raw organic beeswax – it is very important for me to use a local bee farmer rather than commercial wax that is hand collected in cooperation with the bees and a necessary waste product from the hive.Using this commodity raw allows me to immerse the balm with the healing properties of the residue pollen and propolis increasing its protective and anti- bacterial barrier that is anti-inflammatory and rich in vitamin a, supporting cell regeneration and reconstruction, rubusidaeus (red raspberry seed oil), tocopherol (vitamin e) – absorbs UVB and UVC rays – antioxidant – contains vitamin a and e – non comedogenic – high levels of photosterosis which helps the skin retain hydration and moisture, hippophaerhamnoides fruit oil (sea buckthorn) - high in vitamins e and c promoting skin cell regeneration and protection from UV damage, citrus aurantium (neroli) – anti-inflammatory - antioxidant - anti microbial – regenerative qualities, especially healing scars and breakouts – antifungal, nardostachysjatamansi (spikenard) – antibacterial – anti-inflammatory – may promote uplifted mood and emotional health, cedrusatlantica (cedarwood oil) – anti-inflammatory – antimicrobial – especially beneficial during summer months to prevent breakouts -insect repellent – evokes feelings of wellbeing, plumeria acutifolia (frangipani) – anti-inflammatory – antioxidant – astringent,which has the effect of constricting cell membranes to protect and retain moisture on the skin surface.

Summer cleansing balm will naturally contain linalool, limonene and citral in minute form from the neroli although these are natural flower derivatives and not manmade
